The Styrian IT company TAC was awarded third place in the “Innovation” category of the “TOPs of styria 2018”. The Styrian Business Award annually honours Styrian companies with the highest turnover.

On October 15^th, 2018, the software company TAC | The Assistant Company was awarded with one of the most important economic prizes of Styria. Within the Top 100 Ranking of the Styrian companies with the highest turnover, the “TOPs of styria 2018”, TAC was awarded 3rd place in the category “Innovation”. The award annually honours the Who is Who of the Styrian economy and was handed over to Thomas Rössler, Managing Director of TAC, by State Economic Councillor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl and President of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce Josef Herk.

A jury of about 300 members, consisting of managing directors of the 100 companies with the highest turnover of the previous year, business journalists, executives of university institutes close to business as well as business politicians, determines the winners in a free and notarially supervised election. TAC has received an extraordinary trophy for its outstanding performance: a piece of the highest mountains in Styria, the Dachstein.

“Innovation is a top priority for us and we are constantly working on setting new technology standards. The award confirms our way of thinking and motivates us to continue thinking innovatively and creatively,” says Thomas Rössler.

TAC Milestones

The “TOPs of styria” award is another milestone in TAC’s success story. In 2017, TAC won first place in the “Austria’s Leading Companies” category in Styria and fourth place in Austria. In 2016 the company won the “World Usability Award” for the most user-friendly web design.
