Interbad 2018: Presentation new TAC access system “Entry Assistant”

Hartberg/Vienna/Hanover/Chicago, October 29th, 2018
TAC is expanding into the German-speaking thermal bath market with its new “Entry Assistant” cash register system. The software for guest management with cash register and access control system was successfully presented to the industry at interbad 2018.
IT specialist TAC | The Assistant Company has launched a new product that has met great approval in the industry: The new “Entry Assistant – Access Control Software” solution is a software that replaces and digitizes the existing offline processes of the pool industry. “Entry Assistant” offers modules such as access control, POS, reservation, CRM or integrated web functions.
“Entry Assistant” was presented to a broad specialist audience for the first time at interbad 2018 in Stuttgart. At the interactive exhibition booth, visitors were able to experience up close in the showroom which processes in the pool industry can be digitized by the TAC system. The data of the visitors were recorded at the cash desk workstation in order to hand them a RFID wristband as in thermal baths. If the check-in was completely digital, an automatic self service machine was used for ticket sales and media dispensing. The check-in turnstile was made by the Viennese company Gotschlich. Many visitors used the smartphone charging stations, which were integrated in the locker systems. The lockers were locked/unlocked with RFID cards. Sauna surcharges and solarium use were also digitally controlled in the showroom. The cashless workflow extended to the TAC Bistro, where drinks and food could be paid for by RFID wristbands. Guest pagers inform guests as soon as their food has been prepared and is ready to be picked up. At the self-service kiosk, visitors could book appointments such as spa treatments and loungers. Before leaving the showroom, the outstanding due amounts were paid by cash, credit cards or prepaid cards at the automatic payment machine.
TAC has several customers in Switzerland already working with the new system, including the Tamina Therme of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Ronny Schieler, IT Operation Manager of the Grand Resort, has spent two days with us at the TAC booth talking about his experiences with the system conversion to TAC. Here is what he says: “Entry Assistant offers all important functions for the digitization in thermal baths. We have been working with TAC since 2003, and since June 2018 we have also been using the new access system in the Tamina Therme and thus have a uniform system from a single source in this business area of the Grand Resort. This has enabled us to eliminate necessary interfaces and optimize systemic processes.”
